They are questions in motion, experiments rooted in lived realities, and steps toward systems that nourish both people and planet
Our projects are not just solutions—they are questions in motion, experiments rooted in lived realities, and steps toward systems that nourish both people and planet. Each initiative reflects a pathway we’ve dared to explore—responding to urgent needs, local wisdom, and shared dreams.
Centering youth, women, and communities at the margins, each pathway ensures that innovation does not leave anyone behind. Together, they shape the contours of what is possible when care, courage, and collective belonging lead the way.
Young people need to understand sustainable food systems early—especially during adolescence—because it is a key stage for building lifelong habits, environmental awareness, and the skills to address future food security challenges. TAU’s pilot program Weather & Bites: How the Sky Shapes Our Snacks supports this by helping students grasp how weather affects food production and encouraging them to link sustainability with their own health and community action.
Indonesia faces a farmer regeneration crisis, with fewer young people entering agriculture and most current farmers already over 43 years old. To inspire a love of farming early, TAU’s “Farming is Fun and Enjoyable” activity at MI Almansur introduced children to where their food comes from and guided them through hands-on seed planting to nurture their own crops.
