Role Overview:
Perkumpulan Tanah Air Udara is looking for a Volunteer as Partnership and Communication Coordinator to help manage our communications activities and building relationship with the stakeholders. This is a paid volunteer position, ideal for individuals passionate about nonprofit work and skilled in networking and knowledge management—particularly those who can translate these strengths into compelling communications materials for social media, content creation, and digital engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication & Outreach – Engage with the organization’s stakeholders: public, donors, and partners to promote the organization’s mission and activities. This also involves initiating meaningful engagement that may lead to future collaborations, as well as supporting the planning and execution of events to strengthen stakeholder relations and visibility.
- Social Media Content creation & Management – Develop and manage engaging content across social media platforms, including blog posts, newsletters, press releases, and reports.
– Schedule and post updates, respond to messages, and use basic design tools (e.g., Canva) to create simple visuals.
– Monitor and analyze engagement to refine outreach strategies and enhance audience connection.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Communication & Content – Strong English writing and speaking skills, with experience in managing social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter), creating content (blogs, newsletters, press releases), and familiar with public relations, journalism, or marketing activities.
- Digital & Design – Basic knowledge of graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, etc.), website management (WordPress, Wix, etc.), and social media engagement.
- Research & Knowledge – Basic research skills and familiarity of topics like agriculture, environment, food systems, gender, and human rights.
- Work Setup – Able to work independently and in a team. Must have a laptop and reliable internet.
- Preferred Candidates – Individuals with relevant skills who face limited income opportunities due to caregiving responsibilities are encouraged to apply.
